How Sonic Tomography Reveals Decay:
- A dozen or more sensors are placed around the perimeter of a tree trunk
- Sensors transmit and receive sound impulses
- Special software calculates the measured values and coverts them onto a colored chart
- Damaged areas appear in red; somewhat damaged in yellow; intact areas in green
- Reveals hidden decay, invisible cavities and cracks

How much does Sonic Tomography Cost?
We are proud to be upfront in our pricing because we know we are the low-cost-leaders in Sonic Tomography within the United States. To have us check the stem/trunk of a tree below the 8 foot mark, our pricing starts at $650 per tree plus travel time.
If you live outside of the Portland, OR metro area, we are still happy to serve you with your sonic tomography needs! We only require that you pay travel and time related expenses.
